WHY I LOVE IT: While they use a few ingredients I am not the biggest fan of (aka potatoes and tapioca), I do appreciate their effort to bring awareness to freeze dried foods. Note: the only flavor I like is their COD&SALMON. Their beef & chicken uses cellulose powder which I do not feed my pets. I added this brand because it is hard to find a higher protein fish recipe that is freeze dried, which I like for healthy omegas. I also love that you have the ability to easily add moisture to the bowl with their fresh food options. They use human grade ingredients (again also uncommon yet highly important), and no dyes or corn. Moreover, this unique pet food is made with 100% fresh, whole ingredients, and I love that it contains no artificial preservatives, fillers, or additives. Unlike traditional kibble, their food is not extruded and contains no mystery meats . I appreciate the transparency of the ingredient list and the care that goes into creating this food. What sets Spot & Tango apart is the use of the fresh dry process, which gently dries the ingredients while maintaining maximum nutritional integrity. This means that every bite my pet takes is packed with nutrients and goodness. Plus, with three complete and balanced recipes for puppies and adults, I know my pet is getting all the nutrition they need according to AAFCO’s nutritional standards.On top of that, their kibble is GMO and hormone free.
