Millions followed the story of my foster dog, Daffodil, and her 9 puppies she gave birth to in my home. I shared everything from the moment they were born, raising them, nurturing them, and eventually finding all 6 puppies (plus Daffodil) their forever homes. It was a long, challenging but beautiful journey.
Fast forward to today, one of the puppies, Moss, has been returned and surrendered back to the local shelter I fostered his mom and siblings through. My heart is shattered, but their life situation changed and could no longer give Moss the time, attention and love he needed.
Today, I need your help finding him his forever home. Below is more information about him, and his application link. Please share far and wide – even if you do not live nearby, awareness is key and you’d be surprised how connected our world’s are.
Moss is 14 months old, neutered, male around 50 lbs being fostered in southern Oregon by one of my very best friends. To meet him, you will need to fill out an application with Southern Oregon Humane Society (link below).
Moss is a happy, sweet, goofy and bouncy boy who loves nothing more than to be with and near his humans. His favorite activities include nature walks, fetch, tug of war and shredding soft toys.
He will do best in a family that will not need to leave him alone for 5+ hours a day, as he thrives with companionship. He is potty trained, crate trained and sleeps well through the night! Moss loves playing with other dogs, and on leash walks he gets overly excited when he sees other “friends” so we have been working on neutral response.
He would love a large fenced yard or large property, as he loves exploring the outdoors and sniffing the natural environment. And even though he is a border collie mix, he does well with a lot of relaxation time with the family (after some activity of course).
Because he is adoptable through Southern Oregon Humane Society, the adopter will need to live in or near southern Oregon or NorCal area.
